Kewujudan Bahagian First Lady of Malaysia (FLOM) di Pejabat Perdana Menteri membuktikan bahawa Najib Tun Razak telah berbohong kepada Dewan Rakyat bila beliau dikatakan pernah berkata isterinya Rosmah Mansor tidak mempunyai kakitangan sendiri menurut Teresa Kok.
"Perdana Menteri berbohong kepada Dewan Rakyat pada November 2010 ketika dalam meberi jawapan kepada Ahli Parlimen Bukit Bendera (Liew Chin Ton), dia mengatakan bahawa tidak ada kakitangan sepenuh masa atau kakitangan kontrak khusus ditugaskan kepada isterinya, Rosmah Mansor.
"Kenyataan Najib ini telah terbukti bohong dengan adanya penemuan bahawa terdapat satu bahagian yang dinamakan sebagai “First Lady of Malaysia Division (FLOM)” di Pejabat Perdana Menteri di Pejabat Perdana Menteri dikhaskan hanya untuk melayani Rosmah seperti yang disahkan oleh kakitangan di jabatan itu sendiri. PETALING JAYA: The existence of a full-fledged First Lady of Malaysia (FLOM) division in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) proves that Najib Tun Razak lied to the Dewan Rakyat when he said his wife Rosmah Mansor had no staff of her own, opposition Member of Parliament Teresa Kok said today.
“The prime minister lied to the Dewan Rakyat in November 2010 when in his parliamentary answer to Bukit Bendera (MP Liew Chin Ton), he said that there are no full-time staff or contract staff specially assigned to his wife, Rosmah Mansor.
“Najib’s statement has now been proven to be a pack of lies with the discovery that there exists a “FLOM division” in the Prime Minister’s Office dedicated to serving Rosmah as evidenced by the PMO’s very own staff directory web page.
” The fact that the web page was suddenly removed two to three days ago upon being criticised by the public makes the existence of this division all the more suspicious,” said Kok, the Seputeh MP, in a statement.
FMT yesterday in a report revealed that the FLOM division indeed existed as a full-fledged unit. It has six staff members and enjoys the same in stature as the PMO’s Media Division, Policy and Research Division, and SMPKE (Chief Executive Information and Management System) – an ICT Division. FLOM is even larger than the Economy Division which is supposedly of prime importance to Najib.
“With this revelation, Najib must immediately come clean on why he lied, admit his guilt and bear full responsibility for misleading the Dewan Rakyat and all Malaysians in one swoop.
“Rosmah must also explain to the public why she has stood silent and allowed Najib’s lie to proceed, making her complicit to his deceitfulness,” she said.
Kok added that Najib, as Prime Minister, and Rosmah must both be held to the highest standards of integrity if they are to lead Malaysia and represent Malaysia on the world stage.
“Our country’s reputation and our children’s future are at stake. I urge all Malaysians to hold Najib and Rosmah accountable to all their misdeeds until the full force of justice falls upon them,” she added.
