SHAH ALAM, March 10 – Selangor is making good on its promise to make public the assets of all executive councilors (Exco) members.
Asset declarations – one of the many promises in the Pakatan Rakayat manifesto – were also mooted by the Prime Minister but it was not implemented in the wake of March 8 general election last year.

In Selangor, all 10 exco members, including Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, have submitted their asset declaration forms to the State Secretary.
However, only assets obtained after exco members assumed the helm of the state administration will be made available for public scrutiny.

The Sultan of Selangor, in his royal address, at the opening of the second session of the 12th legislative assembly, today, announced that details of the assets of the Exco members will be available online.
The information will be online at selangor.gov.my from tomorrow (March 11, 2009).
